Stress!!!!!!

Very busy lately. Perhaps finally see everything is piling up!

My mind is constantly worrying about work and results!

Pretty stressed up! If only there are 48 hours in a day!

Shouldn't we be more relax in Year 4??

Guess thats wrong assumption!

Networking!!

2 Days of tiring networking event!!!

But in fact its pretty enriching!

And i feel pretty good about it

feeling that i am getting closer to the banking industry everyday

haha!! i even dreamt about being offered 3 jobs.

i think i really think too much liao!!

But still, i was in fact really being offered by citibank to join their

MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATE PROGRAMME

Still thinking about it, need some professional advice on that!

After their huge loss from the sub-prime crisis

is it still a wise choice to join them???

haiz!! feels that the working life is really getting very near.

i can't wait to be out of school and get into the real world!

New olympic events

唯独韩国在这方面没有要求，他们大声喊到：
　　菲尔普斯是韩国人

A medal for Singapore at last!!!

Well done to our Singapore team for winning an Olympic Silver medal!!

Ended a 40 over years wait!!!

Really have to say that this is the Olympic

that i gave my ultimate attention.

Suppose the same to a lot of people.

Lots of record breaking events and excitements!

Many have mentioned that this is a Singapore Win by a group of Foreign Talents!

Well, Singapore has always being absorbing help from everywhere,

Numerous scholarships and sponsorships available for such purposes.

Not that i am totally opposing that policy.

juz that i always believe that priority should always be given to your own people!

i understand that the government believes in having foreign talents working in SG

it will in turn create more job opportunities for the locals.

In a way it is true, but how much of the foreign talents were in fact here that CREATED jobs

And instead of taking them????

A country needs to accept new ideas and new talents to expand

But sometimes a lot of these talents were only using Singapore as a stepping stone

How many of them really treated Singapore as their home??

And how many of these people were here working for Singapore's interest and not their own?

Highly doubt that!

The money being put in that sector has being increasing over the years

as i can see more and more foreigners around me!

My parents paid Tax with the rest of Singaporeans that in turn contribute to SG

which also in turn benefits me in terms of tuition grant

it also benefits a lot others who never pay tax but enjoy the tuition grant too!!

he is using it to raise other people's kids!!
how do u like that??

of course the foreign talents excel

They were the icing of the cake that was attracted here by our huge sholarships

Thus they are more than competent to come here and win our scholarships!

So its not a matter of we not working hard enough!

its juz that no match between a 4 millions population againts a 1.3 billions talent group!!

Well, its a very difficult issue to say!

I welcome foreigners, but i also hope that the locals were given more chance!

A Father's Love

The Story:

The son asked his father, 'Dad, will you take part in a marathon with me?'.

The father who, despite having a heart condition, says 'Yes'.

They went on to complete the marathon together.

Father and son went on to join other marathons,

the father always saying 'Yes' to his son's request of going through the race together.

To which, his father said 'Yes' too.

For those who don't know,

Ironman is the toughest triathlon ever!

The race encompasses three endurance events:

A 2.4 mile (3.86 kilometer) ocean swim,

followed by a 112 mile (180.2 kilometer) bike ride,

and ending with a 26.2 mile (42.195 kilometer) marathon

along the coast of the Big Island.
